Chengdu/Chenghua Education Bureau
Since 2016, the OCDSB and the Chengdu Chenghua Municipal Education Bureau have cooperated on a variety of learning initiatives from teacher training to exchanges, leadership delegations, visits, and student-to-student virtual collaborations.

Since May of 2020, grade 5 - 6 students in Ottawa and Chengdu have been collaborating virtually to share their cultures and discuss creative solutions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Schools involved so far have included Castor Valley ES, Half-Moon Bay PS and Pleasant Park PS.
