OCENET has partnered with EBIV Joint Stock Company, an education organization in Vietnam operating Edu2Review and StudyNow, to explore and develop education opportunities between Vietnam and Canada.
Collaboration covers programs including student and teacher training, teacher development opportunities in both jurisdictions and increasing enrollment of Vietnamese students with the OCDSB.
The first collaboration is a joint English language training program. Vietnamese students learn online with an OCDSB English language teacher about how to become "Global Citizens". The course covers an introduction to Canadian culture and how to contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. After each class, students study 1-1 with their Vietnamese teachers, practicing the content they learned in the lesson.
