Through OCENET, the OCDSB has partnered with school districts around the world to create authentic, engaging learning opportunities for our students and staff.
We currently have partnerships with school districts in CHINA, FRANCE, JAPAN and SOUTH KOREA, and are looking forward to expanding our connections to other countries.
OCENET has helped facilitate eExchanges and collaborative learning opportunities for teachers and their students at various levels. Whether it’s with a small group of 8 to 10 students or a whole class, there are many ways for our students to meet, work with and learn from students in other parts of the world.
From sharing stories, traditions, interests, hobbies and favorites to learning more about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, there is no limit to the creative ways you can engage your students with other Global Explorers from around the world.
