L'académie d'Aix-Marseille, Région académique Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur
Since 2016, the OCDSB and L'académie d'Aix-Marseille, Région académique Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur in France have collaborated in numerous ways to enhance student learning. A memorandum of understanding signed by both sides has highlighted the importance of this collaboration and has led to several memorable partnerships.
Numerous student exchanges have taken place between the two districts, including two-week reciprocal group exchanges at several high schools including Colonel By and Woodroffe. A longer, 5-week exchange involving up to 25 students has been taking place since the 2017-2018 school year and will hopefully resume soon. More details here.
OCDSB students in several classes at various levels have also been collaborating with students in France to enhance language skills and make connections. A few examples of what has been shared so far are shown below.
