OCDSB students prepare to study in Europe

Several recipients of STS Student Exchange bursaries recently attended a Saturday morning orientation workshop with STS representatives Kim Paquette and Yannick Bécu (kneeling) in preparation for their upcoming study abroad experience

One of the most enriching opportunities a student can have in high school is a study abroad experience. Living in another country and using another language is a challenge that develops valuable life skills, broadens cultural horizons and fosters lifelong friendships. Through OCENET’s affiliation with STS Student Travel Schools Inc., OCDSB high school students will be travelling to one of seven different countries in Europe to live with a host family and attend a local high school for two months this coming fall. Bon voyage!
